Holika was a demoness who couldn't be harmed by fire due to a boon. She tried to kill her nephew Prahlad, who was devoted to Lord Vishnu, by sitting with him in a pyre. However, Holika was burned to ashes while Prahlad emerged unscathed, protected by his unwavering faith. This event is celebrated as Holi, symbolizing the victory of good over evil.
