There is no credible evidence to suggest that J. Edgar Hoover, the longtime director of the FBI, was involved in the killing of JFK. The official investigation conducted by the Warren Commission concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in assassinating President John F. Kennedy. Conspiracy theories have since emerged, but none of them provide substantial proof of Hoover's involvement.
