Game Description
In Howard the Duck, an adapation of the disastrous George Lucas movie of the same name, you're a hero from an alternate Earth where ducks are the dominant species. Taking place after the events of the film, the game finds you traveling to a jungle island to rescue your human friends, Beverley and Phil, from an evil Overlord.No more Mr. Nice Duck! Navigating the island in top-down view, you fight bad guys with Duck Fu. Throughout, Howard's trademark wit is present. Given the unclear goals of each screen and the frustrating nature of the controls, however, wisecracks like "I can't swim, Einstein!" may not necessarily be warmly received. The game features a Commodore SID rendition of the song "Howard the Duck".
