Industrial organization

The structure of an industrial unit, especially as it concerns decision-making—is a major component of industrial location theory. Organizations range from the owner-operated small firm to a transnational corporation. In the latter, the low-level functions may take place in less economically developed countries, but decisions are taken in the advanced economies.
