It was once the name of an Austrian staffed outpost (OP) in Israel during the late 1980's and early 90's as part of the Austrian contribution to the United Nations peace keeping role known as United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF). This was the only OP in Israel staffed by the Austrians and was a mere 30 feet from the Area of separation between Israel and Syria.
