Jallianwala Bagh took place in a time when the British had
nearly full control of India. This was ina Punjabi town called
Amritsar. The British had said that if any big meetings form to
overthrow the British, they would come and do horrible things. In
Jallianwala Bagh's case this took place in a sacred place to the
Punjab called Jallianwala Bagh. It had only one narrow entrance and
a well. A meeting was formed there by the Punjabs. The Punjabs were
caught by the British. The British open fired and killed atleast
100 people. This was known as the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Later,
Jallianwala Bagh became known as the synonym of a massacre.
