Loyal Jehovah's Witnesses would not give or allow to be given a whole blood transfusion to the child of a Jehovah's Witness. Likewise with transfusions of four components of blood, i.e. red cells, white cells, plasma or platelets. Transfusions of further breakdowns of blood are permitted.
