John Fletcher. Fletcher was an established playwright before he
became the main playwright for the King's Men, having written a
number of very clever plays in collaboration with Francis Beaumont,
mostly for the Boys of the Chapel, who performed in the Blackfriars
Theatre before the King's Men got hold of it.
