John Titor's story remains internally consistent and
"undebunked" despite many efforts to prove it false. The key fact
to remember is that multiverse theory is real, according to Titor,
a point of view that is becoming increasingly common among
cosmologists and other scientists today. It explains why John told
us we could change our world but probably wouldn't, but we
surprised him and did. Therefore the MAJOR things he described like
how the laws of physics could be used to construct a time travel
device using twin microsingularities, this wouldn't be expected to
change from one universe to another. MINOR things however
especially those easily manipulatable by man could be expected to
change, so when Bush & Cheney discovered their plans revealed
by Titor they modified them so as to not appear so blatantly
fascistic and our timeline was not plunged into civil war after
all. This doesn't mean we are free and clear from the threat or
that global nuclear war won't happen in 2015, it just means exactly
what Titor said -- it is possible to change our timeline if we want
to badly enough, we really do have free will after all.
As politically relevant and highly charged as Titor's message to
us was, it is reasonable to expect people who would feel threatened
by Titor's story to try to find a way to "debunk" and thereby
dismiss it from the public consciousness. But if you notice, the
story still stands strong and remains internally consistent and the
"debunkers" almost always trace to rightwingers who still support
torture and other atrocities that they would have our government
turn into if they could. As Titor described happening in his
timeline, but which we have apparently dodged thanks to him.
Consequently you can expect to still encounter a variety of
self-styled "debunkers" who like to make shallow assertions without
any logic or reasoning behind them like the one below, designed
solely to maintain their own denial mechanisms and hopefully
deflect attention from the important information Titor provided to
us.
The John Titor story seems to have been an elaborate internet
hoax that began in 2000. Titor, a self-proclaimed time-traveler,
made several predictions that did not come to fruition. Likewise,
several of his assertions about his past, and his technology appear
to be contradictory.
While much of what the Titor character claimed is fascinating,
and could initiate an entertaining conversation, the likelihood of
his claims is approximately zero. It is improbable that he actually
exists.
