Biography

Spanish director, screenwriter, and producer José Luis Cuerda started his career writing and directing television series such as Escrito en América/Written in America (1979). Cuerda scripted and directed his first feature film, Pares y Nones/Odds and Evens, in 1982. Cuerda became a producer in 1996 with Tesis.
