I was just given a bottle of Yusan Kaoliang Chiew by a Taiwanese
friend, and he says to sip it neat, no ice, etc. He likened it to
very good vodka, which I would normally put on the rocks. Haven't
tried it yet, though!

Since it's a colorless spirit you can mix it like Rum or
Vodka.
Personally I add Lemon, Orange or Tangerine Zest (outmost peel)
to the bottle.
