(b 1725). Korean court painter. He served as an official painter on the Korean mission of 1763 to Japan that was headed by Cho Om (1719-77). Cho Om wrote that Kim Yu-song received many requests for paintings; he also received a letter from the Japanese painter Ike Taiga asking about painting methods.
