Kurt Voss (Born Kurt Wössner) is an American film director and screenwriter. He often works with fellow UCLA alumni Allison Anders. His credits include Border Radio, Poison Ivy (The New Seduction) , Ghost on the Highway (about The Gun Club) , Down and Out with the Dolls and Sugar Town.
Kurt Voss is a founding member of the West Coast punk band "The Hindi Guns." Members of the Hindi Guns included DeeDee Cheriel. They enjoyed heavy rotation play on John Peel's show on BBC Radio One.
He is divorced from British actress Sammi Davis, by whom he has a daughter.
