You have to keep playing in Arcade Mode. Each time it's a Ranking Match, that is the most important time that you win because if you do so, your rank will go up by 1. You will start off as Beginner then 9th kyu then 8th jyu then 7th kyu then 6th kyu then 5th kyu then 4th kyu then 3rd kyu then 2nd kyu then 1st kyu then 1st dan then 2nd dan then 3rd dan then 4th dan and you go a lot and the last thing is tekken god

It depends what type of karate your doing (hito Ryu, Wado Ryu, Goju Ryu, & Shotokan) but from my understanding this is the order -

-White belt (ungraded)(10th Kyu)(9th Kyu)

-Red belt (8th Kyu)

-Purple belt (7th Kyu)

-Green belt (6th Kyu)(5th Kyu)

- Brown belt (4th Kyu)(3rd Kyu)(2nd Kyu)

-Black belt (1st Kyu)
