Laâyoune-Boujdour-Sakia El Hamra (Arabic: العيون بوجدور الساقية الحمراء‎) is one of the sixteen regions of Morocco. It covers an area of 139,480 km² and has a population of 256,152 (2004 census). The capital of the region is El Aaiún. Due to ongoing dispute over Western Sahara, most of the area is disputed with the Polisario Front which claims control of the area east of the Moroccan Berm.
