The latest victim of the London bombings is 27-year-old Jean Charles de Menezes, who was shot to death in an Underground station by police who suspected he was about to perpetrate a terror attack:
"The Brazilian government said the Brazilian citizen was 'apparently the victim of a lamentable mistake.' "
