Riding lawn tractors are smaller and are usually used for lawnmowing. Garden tractors are larger. They have stronger, larger hitches, sometimes have a PTO and can be fitted with a bucket.

Wal-Mart sells tires for lawn & garden tractors, such as lawn mowers and similar types of equipment. However, they do not sell large scale tractor tires.

Big box hardware stores often carry lawn garden tractors from big name companies. Home Depot carries John Deere and Ariens brand tractors. Sears carries Craftsman brand tractors. You could also try a local feed store or check the craiglist ads for used models.
