Willie Nelson made his mark on country music with his highly individual album, "Red Headed Stranger." He and other "outlaw" artists based in Austin, Texas challenged the Nashville country music establishment.

When, I think of country music. Its the city of nashville which comes to mind. But apparently at one point, it was austin,texas for a place to call the home of country music.
