Initialisms

The expected answer here is probably "acronym," but many people distinguish between acronyms and initialisms and would say that the answer depends on whether the result is pronounced as a word.

The distinction is that acronyms must be pronounced as a word, while initialisms are pronounced as separate letters. "FBI" and "UFO" are initialisms; "radar" and "OPEC" are acronyms.

Acronyms (if pronounceable like lol or pwn) or initialisms (if not pronounceable like omg and wtf)

A person can find a list of acronyms on CMS, or the Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services. They provide a very very large variety of acronyms, however, they do not have acronyms for BIL. So according to my research, one cannot find a list of acronyms for BIL as it does not stand for anything.
