GDP (Nominal)

This is a list of African countries sorted by their nominal gross domestic product (GDP), the marketvalue of all final goods and services from a nation in a given year. The GDP dollar estimates presented here are calculated at market or government official exchange rates by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) staff. GDP of Africa is 2.5% of the total GDP of the world in 2008, and to be estimated as 2.3% of the world GDP in 2009.
