California doesn't have one designated state monument; it does, however, have 138 national historic landmarks, 35 national natural landmarks, and 25 national parks.

But if I had to pick one to be the official state monument, it'd be a toss-up between the Hollywood sign and Cinderella's Castle at Disneyland.
