There is no one group called "converts". Without being more
specific (converts to Christianity, converts from Hinduism to
Buddhism, etc), this question can't be answered.

Generally it is Christians and Buddhists who seek out converts,
and none of the other main religions (Judaism, Hinduism,
Islam.)

Not all schools of Hinduism actively seek converts. The
International Society of Krishna Consciousness is known for
proselytizing, but some people consider a hereditary priesthood
important in Hinduism.
