List of pharmaceutical companies

Wikipedia: List of pharmaceutical companies

The following is a list of the 50 largest pharmaceutical and biotech companies ranked by healthcare revenue as of 2008.[1] Some companies (eg, Johnson and Johnson and Procter & Gamble) have additional revenue not included here. The phrase Big Pharma is often used to refer to companies with revenue in excess of $3 billion,[citation needed] and/or R&D expenditure in excess of $500 million,[citation needed] and represents the first 30 or so companies in this list.[citation needed]
