Electric car's are constantly getting better. A lot of them are already more efficent then gasoline vehicles. As battery technology and public awareness of electric cars increase so will the production of electric vehicles causing a decrease in production of gasoline vehicles.

Electric vehicles are becoming more popular. They are not a traditional alternative fuel. Electric vehicles are expected to have an increase in the battery life, making them more popular with consumers.

Eventually electric cars will replace internal combustion vehicles this will take place over the years as the production and interest in electric vehicles increases. This will happen because electric vehicles are safer, better for the environment, and more efficient.

Traction motors are used in electrically powered rail vehicles such as electric multiple units and electric locomotives, other electric vehicles such as electric milk floats, elevators, conveyors, and trolleybuses, as well as vehicles with electrical transmission systems such as diesel-electric, electric hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles. Additionally, electric motors in other products (such as the main motor in a washing machine) are described as traction motors.

They have a gas powered generator that charges a battery which drives an electric motor to move the car.
