Not anymore. Volkwagen's stake in Rolls-Royce Motors was folded into Bentley Motors. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars was established in 1998 by BMW to manufacture Rolls-Royce cars. BMW later acquired the remainder of Rolls-Royce Motors from VW in 2002.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars was sold by Vickers to Volkswagen, although BMW hold the rights to the name and the marque for use on Rolls-Royce cars, having acquired the rights from Rolls-Royce in 1998. BMW will take over responsibility for Rolls-Royce cars from the beginning of 2003. bentley cars were retained by VW and are still manfactured at the RR site at CREWE
