I am assuming you are reffering to benthonite clay. It has a low peremeability and is used when low water content is desired such that their is low sinking and swelling of the foundation

Pile worms are found in temperate and tropical ocean waters. Most of the pile worms sold as bait in the United States come from the East coast. If looking to catch your own pile worms your best bet is to look under rocks exposed during low tide.
