Masato Otaka
(1923– )
Japanese architect and member of the Metabolist group, his work has been associated with the search for ‘group form’, as in the Chiba Prefectural Centre (1967), but later turned to more conventional designs with a hint of traditional styles in them, an example of which is the Fukushima Museum of Art (1984).
