Max Greenfield is an American actor, best known for his recurring roles in Veronica Mars as Leo D'Amato, Ugly Betty as Nick Pepper, and as a main character in the short lived WB series Modern Men. He has also had roles on Gilmore Girls, Undressed, Boston Public and on The O.C. as young Sandy Cohen in a flashback. Recently, he has played the role of gay college student Michael in Greek on ABC Family. On Monday, May 26, 2008, the Greek episode 'Tale of Two Parties' aired the first gay kiss on ABC Family, between Max's character Michael and Calvin, played by Paul James.
His film credits include the indie coming-of-age film Cross Bronx, which won awards at the Tribeca Film Festival, as well as the Cinevegas and Urban World festivals, and When Do We Eat, in which he played a young dot.com tycoon who loses everything and becomes a Hasidic Jew.
Greenfield was born and raised in Dobbs Ferry, New York. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
