time. It was called the "Jurassic Period".

The dinosaurs lived in the Mesozoic Era, which includes the
Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods. The first dinosaurs
appeared in the late Triassic and went extinct at the end of the
Cretaceous.
