Middleton St George Community Centre

Middleton St George is a village in the borough of Darlington and the ceremonial county of County Durham, England. It is served by Dinsdale railway station.

It has an estimated population of about 3,500 people[citation needed] and is situated approximately two miles from the outskirts of Darlington. It has grown rapidly since the mid-1990s becoming the main commuter area for Darlington. It is served by two shops, three barber shops, one takeaway, a veterinary surgery, a petfood shop, a doctor's surgery, a private day nursery, a dental surgery and a chemist. Within a mile of the village is Durham Tees Valley Airport, formerly RAF Middleton St. George.

The original line of the Stockton and Darlington Railway passed through the village.
