Miracleman was originally created in the UK in 1954 by Mick Anglo as Marvelman. The character was later reimagined by Alan Moore in the 1980s with a darker and more mature tone. Legal disputes led to the character being renamed Miracleman, and the series was eventually completed by Neil Gaiman and later by other writers. Miracleman is considered a seminal work in the superhero genre for its deconstructionist approach.
