A truckstop that serves sushi? The notion doesn't seem so odd to the folks at Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation (MFTBC). The Japan-based company, a subsidiary of Daimler AG, is a leading manufacturer of cargo and dump trucks, aluminum vans, insulated and refrigerated vans, and truck tractors for light-, medium-, and heavy-duty applications. The company also makes large, medium, and small buses, bus chassis, and industrial engines. MFTBC operates plants in Japan and Portugal, as well as a proving ground and an R&D center. Daimler owns 85% of the company; Mitsubishi group companies control the remaining 15%.
