hiten mitsurugi ryu is the one Kenshin used

OK first things first hiten mitsurugi-ryu is a fictional style used by Kenshin Himura, a fictional character. Kenshin Himura is loosely based on Kawakami Gensai who is known as one of the four hitokiri of the Bakumatsu. Hiten mitsurugi-ryu is loosely based on Shiranui-ryu, a style developed by Kawakami Gensai that is characterized by high speed. From my current knowledge and research I can safely say that Shiranui-ryu is a lost art.

Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu can't be learned anywhere since it is based in pure fiction, none of it's attacks are real. If you want a real sword style try Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu, or Toyama Ryu Battojutsu

His name is Kenshin Himura, but was originally Shinta. It was changed by Seijiro Hiko when he began teaching Kenshin Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu

At first Kenshin's name was Shinta, but Hiko Seijuro named him Himura Kenshin when he started to teach him hiten mitsurugi ryu.
