Well, when you say "north", then you're talking about latitude,
but when you
say "longitude", then the number has to be either east or west.
So there's
enough ambiguity here to simply say that the question doesn't
make sense,
and I could just walk away from it.
But I can't resist a good map-reading exercise, that not only
produces a ton of
useless information, but at the same time helps me avoid the
things I should be
doing.
-- The center of the intersection of Red Barns and Links Road,
near Armstrong
Cottages in Bamburgh, Northumberland, England, is only 420
meters north of
55.6 north latitude.
-- The Cassiar Highway (PH-37) crosses 55.6 north latitude in
Smithers, about
2 miles northwest of Cranberry Junction BC in Canada.
-- Tunisvej and Hvf Selandia intersect at 55.6 north latitude,
in the southern suburbs
of Copenhagen, Denmark.
-- And how could you ignore the long piece of the MKAD
Vneshnyaya Storona
around Moscow that follows 55.6 north latitude.
-- Or the P20 Highway on the north side of Novopolotsk in
Belarus, which
follows 55.6 north latitude for several km between the river and
the railroad.
