Supermodel Molly Sims was first known for her saucy TV ads for Old Navy clothing, in which she delivered the tag line "You gotta get this look!" She then became one of the most-seen American models of the early 2000's. Sims gave up law school at Vanderbilt University to try modelling in Europe, where she made the covers of Spanish Vogue and French Cosmopolitan. In 2001 she began hosting MTV's House of Style, following in the footsteps of models Cindy Crawford and Rebecca Romijn-Stamos. She also appeared in ads for Victoria's Secret and in the 2001 and 2002 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues, sharing space with cover models Elsa Benitez and Yamila Diaz. In 2003 she joined the cast of the NBC drama Las Vegas in the role of Delinda Deline.

Sims is 5'10" tall... Sims posed in a 150-carat diamond bikini reportedly worth $30 million for the 2006 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.

Biography

The svelte, blonde, and exceptionally striking American actress Molly Sims segued into a dramatic career after maintaining a high profile and achieving instant recognition as a supermodel. Born May 25, 1973, in Murray, KY, Sims attended Vanderbilt University, where she studied law, until a college roommate prompted her to submit modeling test shots to a number of agencies in Manhattan. Not long after, the esteemed Next Agency offered Sims a contract. Omnipresent ads for such brands as Michael Kors, Chanel, and Old Navy followed, in addition to sexy layouts for the Swimsuit editions of Sports Illustrated magazine. Sims also landed an enviable, exclusive contract with Cover Girl for several years, and appeared on the covers of such women's periodicals as Lucky, Mademoiselle, Self, and Cosmopolitan. Sims transitioned to acting roles at age 30, with an ongoing turn as the sultry Delinda DeLaine, the daughter of James Caan's Big Ed DeLaine, in the blockbuster NBC drama Las Vegas. Sims debuted on the big screen in 2004, as Mrs. Feldman, the wife of Vince Vaughn's gangster Reese Feldman, in the big-screen spoof Starsky & Hutch. Molly Sims (born May 25, 1973) is an American model and actress. Sims is best known for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues and her role as Delinda Deline in the NBC drama Las Vegas.

Biography

Early life

Sims was born in Murray, Kentucky, the daughter of Dottie and Jim Sims.[1] She was raised in Murray and enrolled in Vanderbilt University for two years, but dropped out in 1993 to pursue a career in modeling. While at Vanderbilt, she was a member of Delta Delta Delta.

Career

Sims was an official spokesmodel for Old Navy ads known for using the tag line "You gotta get this look!" She appeared in the Sports Illustrated "Swimsuit Issue" in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2006 as well as MTV's House of Style. In the 2006 issue of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue she appeared in a photo wearing a bikini designed by Susan Rosen worth $30 million that was made of diamonds. She is a CoverGirl model and is signed to Next Models Management in New York City.

She appeared as Delinda Deline for all five seasons of the series Las Vegas.

She has appeared in several comedy films, such as The Benchwarmers, Yes Man, The Pink Panther 2 and Fired Up.

On December 6, 2008 Sims appeared in the video for The Lonely Island's "Jizz in My Pants" as the girl with Andy Samberg in the beginning of the skit.[2]

Personal life

Sims is a supporter of "Friends of El Faro", a grassroots non-profit that helps raise money for Casa Hogar Sion, an orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. She has hosted the organization's last two fundraisers and visits the orphanage regularly.

She is currently dating actor Aaron Eckhart. [3]
