Spotlight: "You must remember this, a kiss is still a kiss, a sigh is just a sigh; the fundamental things apply, as time goes by." The song was written by Herman Hupfeld in 1931, for a musical called Everybody's Welcome, and largely forgotten. Writer Murray Burnett incorporated the song into a play he wrote with
