Monica Horan (born January 29, 1963 in Darby, Pennsylvania) is an American actress.
Biography
Monica Horan is best known for her role as Amy MacDougall-Barone on the television sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond. Horan graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in theater performance. She then moved to New York City where she performed in off-off Broadway theatre while working as a telephone sales agent for Telecharge. Monica currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband Philip Rosenthal, who served as executive producer of Raymond and their two children. Her becoming a regular on Everybody Loves Raymond is considered when the series jumped the shark. Interestingly, she has not worked regularly since.
Horan is a convert to Judaism.
