Hi, Nirvana wanted to bring change to music by bringing
underground music mainstream. They believed that the 80's hair
bands were horrible and not "real music" so they wanted to show the
world what "real music" was. Which is music with meaning, and
emotion. Kurt Cobain thought music was art, which it is, and he
thought that it would be stupid to just make a song for the money
or the girls. He made his music to give him somthing to listen to
because there was nothing good at the time. So, they spread their
music with the world and all the people who appreciate "real
music".
