National Card and Letter Writing Month

Chase's Calendar of Events:

National Card and Letter Writing Month

Apr 1–May 8. An annual effort to promote literacy and celebrate the art of letter writing. The writing, sending and receiving of letters, postcards and greeting cards is a tradition that has preserved our nation’s history and changed lives. Unlike other forms of communications, card and letter writing is timeless, personal and immediately tangible. Postmasters and managers of customer service at post offices across the country are encouraging card and letter writing by hosting friendly competitions among local youth or by supporting activities at local libraries or schools. Annually, from Apr 1 until Mother’s Day.
