National Mend a Broken Heart Month

Feb 1–28. An annual observance sponsored by the nonprofit My Stuff Bags Foundation, National Mend a Broken Heart Month encourages individuals and groups to support America’s children who have been abused, neglected and abandoned by the very people who should love them most. These children must be rescued from their homes, often entering crisis shelters and foster care with no personal belongings. Suggested activities include volunteering or donating funding and new belongings to support America’s foster children through local organizations.
