The company publishes The Washington Times, the conservative rival to the Washington Post with a circulation of more than 90,000 in the Washington, DC, area. News World Communications, Inc. is a media corporation functioning as the "media arm" of the Unification Church.[1] It was founded by Unification Church founder and leader, Sun Myung Moon. Moon's son Hyun Jin (Preston) Moon is its chairman of the board.[2] News World Communications owns the Washington Times, United Press International, Insight on the News, The World and I, Tiempos del Mundo (Latin America), the Middle Eastern Times, The Segye Ilbo (South Korea), The Sekai Nippo (Japan), the Zambezi Times (South Africa) and GolfStyles (formerly Washington Golf Monthly).[1]
