NICE Systems (NASDAQ: NICE) is an Israeli technology company based in Ra'annana, Israel and Rutherford, New Jersey which specializes in emotion-sensitive software and call monitoring-systems for security organisations and corporations worldwide including the New York Police Department, Vertex Data Science, Vodafone, and Citibank.

Nice Systems is headed by Haim Shani (CEO). It has corporate Offices spread across all regions i.e. Americas, EMEA and APAC.

Products

The NICE software records calls, monitors quality, and detects emotion. Levels of emotion can be set to trigger detectors. Calls can be automatically flagged for more careful study by company managers. The level of emotion is measured by changes in scale and rate of voice pitch, and by the number of interruptions. The program also looks at eight other elements of speech, but NICE Systems does not name them publicly.

The firm is a provider of Insight from Interactions, offering performance management and interaction analytics solutions for the enterprise and public safety and security markets. Interaction analytics are performed on unstructured multimedia content - from telephony, web, radio and video communications. NICE has over 24,000 customers in 100 countries, including over 75 of the Fortune 100 companies. NICE's Insight from Interactions solutions are used throughout the contact center and enterprise sector, and in public safety and security organizations.

In its Enterprise Interactive Solutions segment, NICE operates with Call center solutions focusing on recording interactions, performing quality monitoring and helping agents with training and feedback.

NICE also provides advanced analytics features such as Voice analytics with Wordspotting emotion detection. NICE solutions are aimed to be End-user friendly and at the same time provide value to call centers and financial institutions.

Public Safety and Security segment

In its Public Safety and Security segment, NICE provides advanced video surveillance and control services which allow for the remote evaluation of objects, vehicles and individuals.
