The objective pronoun in a sentence receives the action of the verb. A noun phrase or clause can tell what the objective pronoun does. Examples:
I saw the posting for this job and I knew it was right for me. (the objective pronoun 'it' is the object of the verb 'knew'; the objective pronoun 'me' is the object of the preposition 'for')
