conspiracy for a while now
Before 1991 (ish) Vauxhall and Opel models were the same but had
different names (Astra = Kadett, Cavalier = Ascona/Vectra and Nova
= Corsa) Vauxhall and Opel decided to set a standard for naming
their cars and I think they just took a marketing choice to make
them all ending with 'A'
