Probably sometime in either early Egyptian or early Roman times. They most likely played for royalty. Probably no names. But you can ponder on the names, like "The Spinx revival," or " The Julius Jammers." Music has been around as long as man, so one could imagine that a group of musicians eventually got together to combine their sounds.
