Xiaosaurus (xiaosaurus dashanpensi) an ornithopod, was a herbivore (plant eater) that lived during the Jurassic period. Xiaosaurus was little in comparison to the larger dinosaurs (sauropodomorphas, sauropods, ankylosaurs, stegosaurs, ceratopsias) meauring in at 1 ft (30 cm) with a length of 3 ft (1 m) and weight of 15 lbs (7 kg).
