Game Company: Outrage Entertainment, Inc.

Company Bio

Game developer Outrage Entertainment was formed in 1997 following the split-up of Parallax Software. Led by Matt Toscholg, who had been the CEO of the predecessor company, it scored an early success with 1999's Descent 3, a sequel to Parallax's best-selling title.

Headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the Outrage Entertainment offices featured large studios, state-of-the-art programming equipment, and multimedia recording facilities, as well as a game room complete with arcade machines and a foosball table. From this location the company continued to work on new projects for the PlayStation 2 and other "next-generation" consoles.

Outrage Entertainment was aquired by THQ in April 2002 and renamed Outrage Games.
