Päijänne Tavastia (Finnish: Päijät-Häme; Swedish: Päijänne Tavastland) is a region in Southern Finland south of the lake Päijänne. It borders the regions Uusimaa,Tavastia Proper, Pirkanmaa, central Finland, Southern Savonia, Kymenlaakso, and Eastern Uusimaa.
