( b Lezardrieux, 18 March 1881; d Trégastel, 31 July 1984). French composer. He studied at the Paris Conservatoire and with d′Indy and Roussel at the Schola Cantorum, where he returned to teach. He was also a choral conductor. His works, in most genres, are in the d′Indy tradition and have a gracious melancholy. His criticism was open-minded.
