Biography
Almost nothing is known about the life of Texas guitar player and singer Pete Harris. Heavily influenced by Blind Lemon Jefferson, Harris recorded 13 tracks (including two takes of "Jack o' Diamonds") in Richmond, TX, during the month of May 1934. Among the cuts was a song called "Blind Lemon's Song," which was a version of Jefferson's "See That My Grave Is Kept Clean," and a medley of square dance calls. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
